I’m so amazingly pleased; I just had to share this story. And what better place than on this new site.
I purchased a Bushnell HDMR scope, got it mounted, and noticed there was an issue with the turrets. After speaking with my trusted friends on the matter, it was clear it needed to be returned - bummer. Keep in mind I have the worst luck in returning defective products, so I was not enthralled with the idea, but Frankie and Cameron both said working with Bushnell was a good experience.
So I called Bushnell and explained the issue to their customer service. The gentlemen I spoke to – Robert – said he would send me a return shipping label and said they would attempt to repair it and could take 4-6 weeks. Uggg.
Some days past, no label. I called again (I’m impatient) and spoke to Julia. She assured me I would get the label and noted the bad weather we were all experiencing. OK… I understood completely. The next morning I got the label and shipped out the scope assuming I wouldn’t see it again for over a month. That was last Monday.
Being an impatient SOB, I noted they had received the retuned item Wednesday, so I called to confirm Thursday afternoon. I called and this time talked to Trevor. He spoke to Robert and said he had not received the shipment. Hmmm… I wasn’t feeling all that confident. Not only am I impatient, but a touch glass half empty sorta guy at times.
I figured I’d call back early the following week (this week). Work has been busy and figured I’d get around to it, but didn’t. A few boxes showed up today. I didn’t pay much attention because I get shipments all the time. I got around to opening one this afternoon and inside was a brand new scope! Holy crap! I did backflips.
I can’t believe how fast they responded. Everyone I spoke to was very nice, understanding, and professional… and importantly, very patient with me. I went into this expecting the worst, admittedly, but came away from the experience looking at Bushnell in a completely new light. They clearly stand behind their products and treat customers very respectfully.
Anywho… I’m terribly pleased with Bushnell and wanted to share the experience FWIW.
