The hand to hand combat stage will be a training stage for the next two months, it will focus on the following training objectives
1. Punch
2. Kicks
3. Defeating Knife attacks
4.Stick and Knife Strikes
5. Disarming Techniques
6. "Blender" (your combination of punches/kicks)
7. Knife against gun
Then on the third month it will then be scored based on the training. the stage score will then be deducted from the overall score. This way if a competitor does not want to participate in a HTH stage they are not penalized too much. This is about the training not the score. Here is where I call a few people out, if you do not "feel" like getting hit then don't participate in the stage, but you will be a better person when you learn how to fight. Remember the gunfighter can protect himself and others from 0-1000m if he is a true gunfighter, we put the "fighter" in Gunfighter when we do bad things to bad people by using our hands as a tool to deliver punishment. If you are too tender to get hit then maybe you should evaluate what you want to do. And if you say "well, I got a gun on my hip , I don't need to fight , then you are sadly mistaken. They always say dont bring a knife to a gun fight. But dont be the fool that brings a gun to a knife fight as well. One of the events we will do is a man on man knife against gun fight. this will involve two people going into a room and one has a knife Trainer and the other has a UTM gun in a holster on his hip. the fight will commence on the start. the knife fighter will be ten feet across the room. On the buzzer the knife will attack the gun and we will see who wins. oh yea, the knife will shock the hell out of you on contact with flesh. let me know what you think!
